Tressa Mindi

In honor of her 3rd birthday this Sunday, Flashback Friday is about Tressa. She has been very sick all week - my kids got this funky flu thing that starts with a headache, then a high fever, and seems to be ending with a terrible cold. As far as the flu goes, this one hasn't been bad - no throwing up, etc., and they've been really sleepy. But, nevertheless, Tressa's been miserable and pathetic.
Here's Tressa this morning, feeling sick, but definitely getting better in time for her birthday weekend!
And now, almost 3 years ago...
This picture is a favorite of mine - Whitney and Tressa.
And new big sister Cassidy holding Tressa.
Seeing their new sister was great, but so was eating all the fantastic hospital snacks and watching TV in mom's room!
And heading home from the hospital in her adorable new clothes from, who else but her namesake, Aunt Mindi!

Tressa is so frail, fragile, and such a wisp it is good to know that she has survived to see another birthday. Just kidding! We cannot wait till the purple party and fiesta on Sunday. We have lots and lots of purple presents for her to open. No need for anyone else to try and compete with me, I will reign supreme.

Loved all the flashback pics. So precious. Good job on Mindi for the way cute going home outfit!
Your baby is turning 3?! Bet she'll be filled with glee. Sorry she was so sick. Hayley just finished a week of the same flu. Knocked her out hard with a persistent high fever.

So sweet. Doesn't time just fly right on by? I wish we could freeze kids in certain stages. If memory serves though, probably not the 2-3 year old stage...she is adorable and her party looked like a blast. What a mom she has to pull off such an event. And that cake- oh my!
