Whitney's Mayan Project
Sunday, March 2, 2008

Whitney's class did Native American projects for Diversity Day. She had the Mayans. Kalvin & Cassidy helped her construct a replica of a Mayan temple out of clay. It was cool to see in her Book of Mormon a picture of a temple that looked remarkably similar!
Her class did so many amazing Native American projects - weaving, totem poles, sand painting, drumming, singing, dancing, writing.... Open house is coming up so there'll be more pics! :)

Projects! Is this what's nearing in school? Yikes. Her replica is fantastic!

Great Mayan Temple. We have been shaping styrofoam into icebergs for Brittany's penguin habitat exhibit. Isn't it fun to involve the whole family on these school projects?

She is a show off - actually, the pictures do not show the true designer of the mayan temple. CHEATERS!
